5 Spotify Playlists for Your Next Trip!

Road tripping is music to my ears, but I know that's not the case for many. There's just something to be said about driving through unfamiliar open roads with the sun on the dashboard, and the windows all the way down, listening to that one song that makes you feel things. It's in those moments that time slows a bit, and I think - wow :')

Music has the power to transport us. To alter our moods, conjure memories, connect us, and to help us feel present.

Every great travel story needs some good background music. So if there's one thing I never forget to pack when I'm going on a trip - it's a new playlist! Scroll down yonder for some of my favorite personal playlists.

First of all, I'm Team Spotify - @epalek

1. Road Trippin'

This one's a hodge-podge of some of my favorite indie - folk - chill - acoustic - alternative jams. Couple foot tappers and knee slappers. Put this baby on shuffle for your next road trip! (or whenever, really)

2. Travelin' Vibes

Here we have some songs that make me feel ~some time of way~ These are more of an electric vibe, instead of acoustic. Think - songs that went viral on TikTok with main character vibes.

3. Oldies, Goodies

My ultimate go-to playlist for whenever I need to rock out to some classics... like the Cranberries, Billy Joel, U2, Def Leppard... this playlist is always a GOOD MOOD.

4. Destinations

I started this playlist 2 years ago as a way to keep a running list of songs that have names of cities or destinations as their song titles. Every now and then, when I notice a new song title, I'll add it. So that's fun :)

5. Soft Tunes

Some easy listening for the ol ear drums. Very chill. This one really is my daily go-to playlist for all day, any day, wherever I am. Will almost always put me into my feels.
